DevLake

DevLake is a development data platform, providing the data infrastructure
for developer teams to analyze and improve their engineering productivity.

DevLake has been incubating since 2022-04-29.

### Three most important unfinished issues to address before graduating:

 1. Grow the community, add committers and PPMC members, and mailing list
 subscribers.
 2. Grow the project, support more data sources and use cases, and improve
 the user experience.
 3. Elect another release manager, now we only have two.

### Are there any issues that the IPMC or ASF Board need to be aware of?
 No issues at the moment.

### How has the community developed since the last report?
 1.  16 new contributors have joined the community (109 contributors in
 total)
 2.  154 new community members in Slack (756 in total)
 3.  2 new committers were elected, and 1 PPMC was elected.
 4.  Hosted a total of 3 community meetups.

### How has the project developed since the last report?
 1.  Made one new major release v0.17 with no compliance issues, and v0.18
 is at the beta testing stage.
 2.  Supported new data sources such as Azure DevOps and PaterDuty, etc.
 3.  Re-defined deployments in DevLake and update the algorithm for DORA
accordingly.
 4.  Redesigned user experience for transformation rules in Config UI.
 5.  Supported the data deletion in v0.18.

 1. 15 new contributors from 3 organizations have joined the community (93
 contributors in total)
 2.  170 new community members in Slack.
 3.  2 new committers were elected, and 1 PPMC was elected.
 4.  Hosted a total of 6 community meetups.

### How has the project developed since the last report?

 1.  Made one new major release for v0.16. v0.17 is at the beta testing
 stage.
 2.  Support new data sources such as SonarQube Server v8.2+, BitBucket
 Cloud, GitLab v11.x, etc.
 3.  Support importing data and expanding data schema by CSV files.
 4.  Simplify the data transformation configuration for GitHub and Jira to
 improve on-board experience.
 5.  Refactor the algorithm to measure DORA metrics to cover more use
 cases and improve the data integrity.

 community celebration event

 2. Support for projects in DevLake for custom aggregation of metrics
 3. Better support for parallelism in blueprint executions
 4. GitHub data colection now uses GraphQL queries by default where
 possible for much better performance
 5. Support for skipping failed pipeilnes stages to alow partial data
 collection

 2. Support DORA metrics, a well-publicized framework for measuring
 software delivery performance
 3. Add incoming webhook for users to actively push deployment data to
 DevLake. This allows DevLake to work with any CI/CD system when it comes
 to calculating DORA.
 4. Differentiate between Scrum and Non-Scrum boards in Jira for more
 accurate data aggregation
 5. Prompts users to confirm DB migration during upgrade through Config-UI

 This is our first report. Since entering the incubator:

 1. 9 new contributors have joined the community (35 in total)
 2. The first committer proposal is going through the voting process
 3. Hosted three community meetups on Zoom
 4. Signed up for the Open Source Promotion Plan with two summer projects
 for students

### How has the project developed since the last report?

 1. This is our first report. Since entering the incubator:
 2. Signed SGA and ICLAs
 3. Built official website: devlake.apache.org
 4. Migrated two repos to apache org on GitHub and set up their CI
 5. Made official announcement in DevLake's blog
 6. Functionality wise, we added a data source (TAPD) and support for
 PostgreSQL.
 7. Now working towards DevLake's first Apache release
