In practice this means a single meeting slot in which voting results are announced instead of voting during the meeting and reconvening for the results. Questions regarding voting, as well as any other topics are ideally managed asynchronously in fora that are for-purpose. Once a date is established, a board face-to-face meeting will also be organized following the Members Meeting prior to the second meeting of the newly elected board to maximize benefits. Location is yet to be determined. The board approves this by general consent to set the annual Members Meeting to March 9.
In line with 2021 (https://s.apache.org/p6y9w), I propose the first week of March (1st-3rd) in 2022. Approved by the board by unanimous consent.
We should plan a date for the annual members meeting. For the past six years it has been held around the last week of March, which drops a new board into the end of budgeting for the coming year. Roy thinks it would be better to have a meeting on the first or second week of March [March 2-4 or 9-11]. Would it be possible/desirable to use our virtual conferences platform to host the first part of our annual meeting? RESOLVED, the next annual members meeting shall be March 9-11, 2021, was approved by General Consent.
