About This Script

The ASF is a 501C3 non-profit corporation in the US - and there's a lot going on the corporate side of the ASF, to keep the corporate records and infrastructure that the many Apache projects you use working.

  • Formal duties

  • Shall have custody of all corporate funds and financial records, shall keep full and accurate accounts of receipts and disbursements and render accounts thereof

  • Goals

  • Ensure corporate finances are tracked and disbursements are processed.

  • Tasks

    • Disburse funds authorized by appropriate officers.
    • Coordinate external accounting firm to monitor finances.
    • Oversee preparation of taxes and related financial duties.
    • Prepare financial reports for board and member’s meetings
    • Keep the books: report on incoming monies, and ensure any expenditures are tracked and categorized
    • Ensure corporate taxes are filed in US and Delaware
    • Monitor the financials/Bills/approved directory, pay any bills, and svn move the bills into ../paid
